Church is leading the global church

We are pioneers and standard-bearers within our wider movement; leading and supporting the expansion and excellence of our global family.

Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers… While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off. Acts 13:1-3

Throughout church history, there have been Antioch-style churches that are resource churches to newer, small, and developing congregations. Catch The Fire has this mantle on us which we embrace. We seek to start new churches, new ministries, new initiatives, as well as set the pace for our amazing large church movement called Catch The Fire Partners.

Church is living based on Biblical principles

We produce rich and engaging teaching where everyone is a student and knows how to live their life based on biblical principles.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

The Bible is God’s revelation. By studying the Word of the Lord, we gain wisdom and understand how to live in every facet of society. The Bible is absolute truth. Our sermons, teaching series, etc., seek to share His truth rather than us trying to share man’s wisdom.

Church is gathering to worship God

We host thousands of people from around the world who are hungry to experience more of God and grow in their walks with God.

News about Jesus spread all over Syria…. large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him. Matthew 4:24-25

We desire to be at the forefront of churches where people can experience God’s transforming presence. Through live in-person and online events, we desire to be a place where everyone can meet Jesus as saviour, know God as their Father, and have a friendship with Holy Spirit.

Church is impacting the world through tech and media

We harness technology and media with excellence to impact people within our church and those far afield.

Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. Genesis 4:17

Throughout the Bible, we see that God has given blueprints for advancement and innovation. Cain built a city, Solomon built a temple, etc. We seek to be at the forefront as a church using technology and media to enhance the Kingdom of God. We are not afraid to invest in new equipment to enhance our ability to reach people better.

Church is creatively expressing the nature of God

We are creative people, pushing the boundaries of innovation and artistry to freshly express the nature of God.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Genesis 1:1-3

Father God is the master of creativity, innovation, design, etc. As we partner with the Spirit of God, we receive ideas that allow us to express the heart of God and to bring disruptive and powerful change to all facets of our world. As a church, we celebrate that God is constantly giving His followers revelation to express His glory and greatness.

Church is having honest conversations

We communicate with clarity and authenticity, preferring honesty over perfection.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

Jesus is the ultimate example of perfect communication. His words were always true but were full of grace, mercy, and compassion. We desire to become a church family where there isn’t confusion about the process, procedures, priorities, people’s motives, etc. We desire to communicate in all ways.

Church is a welcoming place for everyone

We create welcoming environments that help all to feel at ease and ready to meet with God.

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:46-47

As a church community, we want to present Jesus with excellence in all that we do, all that we say, in our live and online meetings, when people drive onto our property, etc. We seek to make it easy and welcoming for people to experience God who will transform their life!

Church is walking in His favour

“We walk in audacious favour with God and man.”

Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Luke 2:52

But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favour with God. Luke 1:30

Favour makes a difference in our lives. Favour is a wonderful gift of God. Doors open for people with favour; people with favour go to the front of the line. Favour is one of the evidence that God’s anointing is on our lives. We want it and pursue it!
