Church is having honest conversations

We communicate with clarity and authenticity, preferring honesty over perfection.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

Jesus is the ultimate example of perfect communication. His words were always true but were full of grace, mercy, and compassion. We desire to become a church family where there isn’t confusion about the process, procedures, priorities, people’s motives, etc. We desire to communicate in all ways.

Church is a welcoming place for everyone

We create welcoming environments that help all to feel at ease and ready to meet with God.

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:46-47

As a church community, we want to present Jesus with excellence in all that we do, all that we say, in our live and online meetings, when people drive onto our property, etc. We seek to make it easy and welcoming for people to experience God who will transform their life!

Church is walking in His favour

“We walk in audacious favour with God and man.”

Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Luke 2:52

But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favour with God. Luke 1:30

Favour makes a difference in our lives. Favour is a wonderful gift of God. Doors open for people with favour; people with favour go to the front of the line. Favour is one of the evidence that God’s anointing is on our lives. We want it and pursue it!

Church is raising up the youth to lead and thrive

“We have a thriving youth ministry, packed with teenagers who are living radical lives of pursuing God, being impacted by the love of God and leading their friends to Jesus.”

Paul came to Derbe and then to Lystra, where a disciple named Timothy lived, whose mother was Jewish and a believer but whose father was a Greek. Acts 16:1

The example of Timothy is valued in our church. A young man was given every opportunity to be immersed in the things of God. He was trained on missions and ministry trips to the extent that he could be trusted to represent the apostles and be sent out. Youth are not just our future, but our present!

Church is raising a generation of kids living in revival

We have a kids ministry where children are so aware of their God-given identity that they are unshakable, standing before a thousand without being moved. Each having their own encounters with God and influencing their friends and families.

But Samuel was ministering before the Lord; a boy wearing a linen ephod…. And the Lord was gracious to Hannah; she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord. 1 Samuel 2:18, 21

There are no junior or kids Holy Spirit. Every child that is born again has the very same Holy Spirit as did Jesus. They have the same ability to hear from God, minister, and mature in their faith. Children are not just our future, but our present!

Church is being who God made us to be

“We live in our identity in the Father’s love, rest in the assurance of our salvation through Jesus and move in the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:12-14

We were created to know the reality of Father God’s love, experience the mercy and grace of Jesus daily, and partner with the Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Everything Jesus experienced with Father God is available for us as well.

Church is establishing the Kingdom of God on earth

“We partner with leaders and organizations to make our city reflect the Kingdom of God, where poverty, racism, and hatred are eradicated.”

James, Peter and John, those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles. Galatians 2:9

Each congregation, each ministry has a unique calling and destiny from God. Together we can establish the Kingdom of God on earth. We desire to take our place within the city doing what we are called to do and helping other ministries who do Kingdom activities better than we do.

Church is making space for the Holy Spirit

“We cultivate environments for people to encounter God’s transforming presence.”

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8

We believe that when God shows up, people’s lives are changed. We want to be known as a people who come together to bring heaven closer. We know that changed people change others and that God’s presence brings the change. So we purposely seek to welcome His presence!
