Reporting of Abuse & Misconduct

Catch The Fire Toronto is committed to fostering a safe environment for all people, with the highest standards of conduct, ethics and integrity. We take seriously all forms of misconduct and abuses of power, not limited to sexual harassment, sexual abuse, child abuse, and spiritual abuse, by the employees, contract workers, or volunteers in service to or with Catch The Fire Toronto.

All complaints of misconduct will be taken seriously and investigated with integrity and fairness, promptly and with concern for the wellbeing of complainants and other involved parties. Information about allegations and complaints shall be kept confidential to the extent that it is possible. Any information obtained related to the allegations, including identifying information about any individuals involved, will not be disclosed unless disclosure is necessary to investigate the incident, take corrective action, or otherwise required by the laws of Ontario.

If the individual experiencing misconduct is a minor, it must be reported immediately to the police and child welfare authorities, as an incident of child abuse, as required by law.
