This position is responsible to help guide and facilitate ministry for children from ages 6 to 12, working with volunteers in a culturally diverse setting; To maintain and develop children’s ministry programs, procedures and activities for children.
Grade 12 or acceptable equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience;
Character: Be a passionate follower of Jesus who is filled with the Holy Spirit and demonstrates high integrity, empathy, personal initiative and display a commitment to the ministry of Catch The Fire;
Knowledge of and experience in use of computer programs, including Word Processors, Connect database, etc;
Be creative and able to work with creative materials;
Able to communicate and converse with people in groups or 1 on 1, and in a confident, clear and honest manner;
Collaborate well with others.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Help guide and facilitate ministry for children from ages 6 to 12;
Maintain and develop children’s ministry programs, procedures and activities for children;
Attend staff ministry events organized during work hours
Work Location: CTF Airport Campus
Hours of Work: 4 hours per week (Sundays, 9am-1pm)
Staff Category: Part-time/Salaried
Salary: $14.00 per hour
Probationary Period: 90 days
Special Conditions: Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.
