Housekeeping

This position is responsible for cleaning the church, office and School of Ministry buildings.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Grade 12 or acceptable equivalent, or 1 year of experience.
  2. Knowledge of and use of basic cleaning equipment

  3. Able to effectively communicate to the supervisor things which are seen and heard that need cleaning

  4. Able to work by oneself and get a job done with little supervision.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Daily Cleaning: Cleaning the washrooms by mopping floors, filling dispensers, emptying garbage, wiping sinks, toilets and mirrors; Cleaning the front entrance windows and vacuuming mats, sweeping and mopping the floors; Cleaning the auditoriums by vacuuming, and dusting; Empty garbage, disinfect phones and water fountains, wash windows.
  2. Weekly Cleaning: Clean low traffic office, by vacuuming and dusting; Vacuum around and in between chairs in main auditorium; Dust windows and ledges; Mop Fire Hall; Wash garbage cans and walls as needed, also clean outside windows.

  3. Cleaning of the School of Ministry dorm rooms and common areas after each five month school term, Leader’s School, and other schools or events as requested by the School of Ministry staff.

  4. Monthly Cleaning: Wash stalls and tiles in washrooms, door frames; Dust air vents, plants and desks; Clean out office fridge; Put supplies away.

  5. Other related duties as required

  6. Organizational Responsibilities Attend staff prayer meetings as required

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Staff Category: Full-time/Permanent/Salaried

Hourly Rate: $14.00 an hour ($29,120/year)

Place of Work: CTF buildings at 268 and 272 Attwell Drive, Toronto.

Health & Dental Benefits: Eligible upon a successful 90 day Probationary Review.

Special Conditions: Evening and weekend work during conferences, events and rentals.
