What is House Of Prayer?

House of Prayer is an intentional time of active and vibrant intercession, prayer, and worship inspired by David’s tabernacle (1 Chr. 23:525:7), where 288 singers and 4,000 musicians were employed as their full-time occupation to minister to the Lord and serve the community.

Scripture teaches that night-and-day prayer is deeply connected to the fullness of God’s power and purpose being released (Lk. 18:7–8Isa. 62:6–7). We are offering Jesus unceasing worship, while contending for justice and for the power of the Holy Spirit to be manifest and bring transformation in every sphere of society.

The House Of Prayer meeting times are subject to change due to special events at Catch The Fire Toronto. Please check the monthly calendar linked below to confirm when the House is open.

In these sets we exalt the Lord through worship and we partner with Jesus and the angelic in prayer/intercession, agreeing for His plans and purposes to be accomplished on the earth.

During these sets, we worship through longer passages of scripture as a way of meditating on the truths of the Bible and allowing the Spirit to interact with us to take us deeper in knowing God and what is on His heart.  We sing and pray through each passage

During these sets, we simply are choosing the “one thing” that David wrote of in Psalm 27:4 when he said, “One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.”

Burn Nights are extended times of worship and prayer where we press deeper in for the heart of God. They occur on the first Friday night of every month.
