GENERAL DETAILS

For the camp Registration form, click here.

Camp Freshwind is always one of the highlights of Youth Network's year, and for obvious reasons. What could be better than getting away from the city for a week with a massive group of friends with the only purpose being to encounter God and have fun? Camp is exclusively going to be with youth which means amazing :

  • chapel times,
  • incredible activities
  • unbelievably gross team games
  • an airsoft BB gun range
  • archery
  • mini-golf
  • soccer
  • beach volleyball and so much more!

The camp is located about 2 hours East of Toronto near the city of Ameliasburgh.  It's located on Lake Robin and has some incredible features.  One of the big bonuses this year is that our meals will be buffet-style (and we don't have to do our own dishes) and all the cabins feature interior bathrooms, showers, electrical outlets and storage lockers!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to take the bus?

No you don't have to take the bus.  We do ask that you contact us by phone (647) 729 3848 or email youth@catchthefire.com to get updated driving directions and to let us know that you won't be on the bus. Unfortunately there are no camp discounts if you choose to transport yourself.

I'm coming with friends, can I be in the same team or cabin as them?

We will do our best to accommodate requests to have friends stick together in cabins.  We are able to accommodate cabin requests as long as there isn't a significant age difference between the individuals (12 year olds with 18 year olds etc).   Just write it on the application form, send an email to us or give us a call (647) 729 3848.

One of the main goals of camp is to provide opportunity for new friendships to start, so we have a lot of time for campers to interact with each other regardless of teams.  There's lots of free time, chapel times and games where campers are all together.  Part of building friendships is by giving more opportunity to meet others you may not already know, so to encourage this we don't always put friends in both the same cabin and teams.

I'm 15 years old, can I be a Counselor/Programmer/Director 'In Training'?

We really want to encourage leadership opportunities for all our youth, unfortunately due to some concerns in our minors policy, the minimum age for leaders is 16.  However, you can come and enjoy the experience of being a camper which is an awesome thing!

Is there going to be a theme to camp this year?

Yes!  We will let you know closer to camp, but there are always some great themes!

Can I bring up some team stuff or costumes or things like that?

Yes!  Part of the camp experience is also planning some great costumes!  Make sure to pay attention when we announce the themes because that will help you in your planning!

Who can I contact for more information?
