The Airport campus organizes Family Feasts throughout the year as opportunity for the church family to connect, share a meal and have some fun. Come join us at Centennial Park Picnic Area 1 for an afternoon of BBQ foods, some family games and a lot of connection with our local church family.
Centennial Park Picnic Area 1 (151 Elmcrest Road).
As you turn north on Elmcrest Road, follow the signs for Picnic Area 1 & 2. Parking is available within a one minute walk of Picnic Area 1.
The Food: We are providing the meats (Burgers & hot dogs) & condiments and asking that families arrange to bring either a Side Dish (for 8-10 people), Salad (for 8-10 people) or Dessert (for 10+ people). Connect Group leaders are asked to bring drinks for 20-25 people.
Cost: The event is FREE for everyone part of the Catch the Fire Airport campus.
How to Register: Registration is requested in order to know the approximate number of people attending. To register click here and fill out the requested information.
Registration deadline is 5pm on Friday, September 9th 2016.
Weather: If there is uncooperative weather, this event will be moved to the Airport Campus (272 Attwell Drive). We will announce on the day of if there is inclement weather as well as notify everyone who has registered their email address.
What to Bring: If you would like to bring your own park style chairs you are welcome to do so. There is a shaded picnic area (Picnic Area 1) for approximately 50 people. There are numerous picnic benches that seat up to 20 scattered around Picnic Area 1 & 2. There is also a small unsupervised wading pool for kids and a kids playground located near Picnic Area 1.
Please note, a large amount of our family activities may be happening in unshaded areas and it may be warm so make sure to plan accordingly.
